EUDL Coordinators Symposium

On August 8-10, 2012, the Underage Drinking Enforcement Training Center (UDETC) held the 2012 Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Coordinators Symposium. The successful symposium was  held at the National Conference Center in Leesburg, Virginia. This first ever event hosted more than 100 invited participants from across the Country and the US Territories, which included  EUDL Coordinators and their invited guests (one law enforcement and one community based partner) from each State and Territory in attendance. The Symposium was entitled “Working Together to Enhance EUDL Capacity in States and Territories”; and focused on sustainability, including  targeted conversations about best practices, proven tools, new resources, and next steps for implementing and sustaining EUDL programming efforts. 

Additional symposium highlights included;

  • A select number of workshop presentations,
  • Opportunities to meet with OJJDP, Federal Partners and the UDETC Staff,
  • Special invitation only meetings for EUDL Coordinators, the US Territories, and select Discretionary programs, and
  • Organized networking opportunities.
