behalf of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and
The Center for Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (UDETC) we would like to express
our condolences to those who lost friends and loved ones in Tuesday’s events.
Those directly affected by this tragedy should know that we share their
grief, and that our thoughts and hearts are with them.
After
careful deliberation and concerns with the safety and well being of our
participants, we have decided to postpone our National Leadership Conference
until further notice!
We
will be announcing a new conference date within the near future!
This
conference promises to be our best national leadership conference to-date with
an anticipated attendance of 500 participants.
Please accept our apology for any inconvenience this may cause and we
look forward to seeing you in the near future.
For
your convenience we have made arrangements for all hotel reservations be automatically
cancelled. Therefore calls to
the hotel for cancellations is not needed.
It
is also our understanding, that airlines will be providing refunds and or
reschedule travel without any fee. Please
consult your travel agency or airline for further information.
